For nearly a decade, the Museo Carlo Zauli works to promote and consolidate the location and the role of young artists in our area. As an instrument designed for this purpose was born on a format!, Or a proposed exhibition that represents the first public display of a young talented artist of our territory. Inspired by this experience MCZ took the will and energy of two young entrepreneurs in a new project that links the museum, arts organizations and colleges to develop the visibility of young artists and a new collecting area.
Since December 2010, the showroom of Ravenna, Faenza Curtains, becoming an ideal gym and real opportunities for young artists, will host an intimate corner and be discovered, dedicated to a young artist, chosen by the teachers themselves among the best students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna and ISIA Faenza. In this small but autonomous space he is called to re-create his own universe through an installation of works and objects. Other areas of the showroom is set up, demonstrating a mutual desire of contamination between the entrepreneur and the artist, all accompanied by the presence of a work by Carlo Zauli, selected from the historical collection of the master, which acts as an ideal witness between art historical and institutional land and younger generations.
first stage of this innovative project will be the exhibition of Monaco Marisa, a young artist selected in the Accademia di Belle Arti di Ravenna. The artist was chosen not only for the quality of the work also because it represents the full multifaceted aspect of the contemporary world, using the language of painting, sculpture and video.
