Fiorenza Pancino

PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
by Claudia Casali
opening Oct. 8 18.00 at Banca di Romagna
L'esposizione, con lavori anche inediti, intende draw the sums of an artistic career so far played through the language of ceramics and now intends to look to other media. In its work, there is a constant female to dominate his language "... but now it appears that - as stated by the curator Claudia Casali - how to overcome the stereotype of the ceramic to achieve the creation of real installations comprehensive. Not plus the vase or container that inevitably recalled the daily use ceramic, but a new use that comes powerfully in contemporary art. There is always a continuity because many references morphological and color are a constant over the years but it appears the idea of \u200b\u200bbuilding an intellectual journey that gives new meaning to an ancient language, such as majolica, drawing from other meanings also look at the performative dimension of contemporary ...".
for Fiorenza Pancino the Past is the work Harmony Order manic, monochromatic white and black versions, and the tree of life that shows a certain liveliness formal, almost dynamic, in his full white monochrome. This coincides with the installation of crowns and cages on the wall. "The crowns are cages, crates or cages shall be houses, collecting thoughts, which act as barriers, which intersect to create a patch of trouble.
